Can Chef George Inc. assist me in developing or reformulating food and drink products or ingredients for new products?

Yes, this is part of our core business.


What type of products have you produced?

Ready to eat sauces, marinades, syrups, dressings, salads, seasoned vinegars and industrial ingredients.


What type of containers are you currently packing in?

We are currently producing products into 2-16 Lb heat sealed, 4-16 oz glass jars, 8-16 oz glass bottles, 64-128 oz plastic jugs and jars.


Do you produce fresh, frozen or shelf stable products?

Yes we do! All of the above.


Can you produce organic products?

Although CGI is currently uncertified, we do select and use organic, local and sustainable ingredients whenever possible.


What is your minimum run requirement?

We hand pack on a regular basis so we have great start up and scale up options.


What type of labeling capabilities do you have?

We offer pressure sensitive wrap labels for round bottles and jars. We can hand apply small runs of products as well.


Can you help me acquire packaging and ingredients for my product?

Absolutely. We can help you in the sourcing of raw materials and packaging.


Do you have a HACCP program in place?

A documented HACCP program is in place on all products and these programs are available for your inspection.


Do you have third party plant audits?

Yes, by request.


Have you ever had a product recall?

No, however we do have a detailed recall plan in place if necessary.


Do you have line capacity available now?

Yes we are currently running four 10-hour shifts per week so that we have at least one additional shift available. We can add evening shifts as business dictates.


Can you provide tamper evident sealing?

Yes we use shrink band or safety seal to alleviate fears of product tampering.


What are your batch / lot coding procedures?

We are able to identify bottle, pouches or cases via lot codes and use-by dates. Ink jet coding with customer specific coding is available and we can set up a custom label if needed.


Do you have warehousing capabilities?

We can temporarily store up to...

Can you pack finished goods into trays for the club industry as well as closed cases?

Yes.
